NAVELIM: Churchill Brothers FC Goa defeated Compassion FC by 3-0 goals to register win in the Vedanta GFA women’s league football tournament match played at Rosary Church Ground, Navelim on Thursday.
Aniela Baretto of Churchill Brothers FC Goa gave her best to her team while Fatima Braganza of Compassion FC was at her best for her team.

Coach of Churchill Brothers FC, Gurijadevi Narayan Dessai fielded Aniela Baretto in the upfront and also gave her extra task on the midfield too and for Compassion FC coach, Gracy D’Costa fielded Fatima Braganza upfront.
Churchill Brothers FC dominated the entire match and shot into the lead in the 2nd minute through Vinishka Simren Fernandes.
Churchill Brothers FC missed golden opportunity of increasing the lead in the 11th minute as Rizella Almeida hit the crossbar. Churchill Brothers FC increased their lead in the 38th minute through Nevilla Colaco on a free kick.
Later Aniela Barreto missed a scoring chance after her solo effort. Compassion FC’s Stessi Cardozo also missed a chance at the fag in the 46th minute
It was Aniela Baretto who netted the 3rd goal for Churchill Brothers in the 55th minute.
Goa Football Association and FC Tuem President Dr Caitano Fernandes gave the player of the match award to Aniela Baretto of Churchill Brothers.
