MARGAO: On Monday morning, the staff of Konkan Railway Corporation (KRC) took a pledge and then marched around the Margao Railway station premises shouting slogans to maintain cleanliness in the railway property. This programme titled Swachhta Packwana will continue till October 2.
KRC Public Relation Officer Leora D’Cunha disclosed that every morning they will organise some activity or the other at the railway station for the staff and public while in the evening there will be a street play.
The ‘Packwana’ was launched with all the staff led by General Manager Joseph George pledging to keep the railway station and its surrounding clean and to also educate railway users on cleanliness.
