Crime Branch on Thursday registered an FIR against the Facebook user under Section 66 D of Information and Technology Act 2000, following a complaint by the woman.
A Crime Branch officer said that Police Inspector Rajesh Job is investigating the case. In the last two months the Cyber Cell of Crime Branch has registered four FIRs where woman have been cheated through Facebook.
