PANJIM: Goa Government Employees Association (GGEA), seeking an end to extension in government service, appealed to the government to revoke the service extension of Chief Electrical Engineer Nilkanth Reddy.
GGEA has written to Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and also to the Power Minister seeking intervention in the matter so that the service extension is stopped permanently.
GGEA informed the ministers that Reddy is controversial and was suspended twice during his career. “It is requested to kindly revoke the service extension of Nilkanth Reddy immediately and appoint any other eligible officer to the said post,” GGEA said in the letter.
