PANJIM: With heavy rainfall witnessed during the last 48 hours, several landslides, road blocks and flood-like situations were reported across the state.

The heavy downpour resulted in several issues across the Panjim city. Several parts of Panjim witnessed flood-like situation, roads were blocked, with the water entering several houses while people found it difficult to commute through the water-lodged roads.
The 18th June Road in Panjim flooded like every year during the first rain.
Several roads namely the Mahatma Gandhi Road, Church Square side, Fontainhas, Miramar Circle and several other prominent roads were flooded and witnessed water-lodging situation.
Just before the Corporation of the City of Panjim (CCP) office there was water blockage issue with the commuters complaining that water overflowed from the gutters which were blocked by garbage.
