RAIA: Compassion FC moved past Union of Chinchinim Villagers 5-4 via tie-breaker to emerge champions of the Goa Football Association U-13 Division I League girls football match played, at the Sinquetim sports complex ground.
Risa Oliveira scored a brace for Union of Chinchinim Villagers, while Asma Bandodkar and Jasmine Baral scored a goal each for Compassion FC in the regulation time.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Abigail Gracias, Quinnell Lourenco and Asma Bandodkar scored for Compassion FC, while only Eleora Crasto and Joiada Rocha were on target for Union of Chinchinim Villagers.
Former minister Avertano Furtado was the chief guest and handed over the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of Goa Football Association President Caitano Fernandes, Vice-President Anthony Pango and Shubert Furtado.
