Rs 2 lakh reward for burglary info

MARGAO: With no breakthrough in sight in the Cavelossim burglary case, the victim UK woman Patricia Hughes has announced a reward of Rs two lakh for anyone helping the police to recover the stolen jewellery.

MARGAO: With no breakthrough in sight in the Cavelossim burglary case, the victim UK woman Patricia Hughes has announced a reward of Rs two lakh for anyone helping the police to recover the stolen jewellery.
Hughes said that British MP of Goan origin Keith Vaz is also in touch with her in this connection and has advised her to pursue the matter with the Indian High Commission. Talking to Herald, Hughes said she met the Deputy Inspector General V Ranganathan in Panjim last Friday and also district police chief Shekhar Prabhudesai, besides Colva PI Uttam Raut Desai. 
Anybody with information on the incident may notify her landlord Cliff Coutinho on 9049022855, she said. 
“Some of the jewellery was given to me by my late husband and is of great sentimental value,” Hughes added.
