116 contacts placed in quarantine

PANJIM: On Saturday 116 contacts were placed under government facility quarantine, while two COVID-19 suspected patients were admitted in isolation ward of Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC). Further, 195 samples that were tested for COVID-19, reported negative results. 

As per the bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), 116 contacts are under facility quarantine.

Five persons are currently in the isolation ward of GMC, including the two admitted on Saturday. Also, another two are in the isolation in North Goa district hospital.

Of the 213 samples sent for testing, 195 test results were negative while 18 test reports are awaited.
