SANVORCOTTO CUNCOLIM: Mount Mary’s HS of Chinchinim and Rosary HSS of Navelim cruised into the semi-finals of the U-17 boys Salcete Taluka Subroto Mukherjee football tournament, at Cuncolim School ground, Cuncolim.

In the first quarter-finals, Mount Mary’s HS defeated OL of Rosary HS of Fatorda 3-1. Sohil Shaikh scored a brace while Om Raikar added one goal for Mount Mary’s. Samson Pinto reduced the margin for OL of Rosary HS.
In the second quarter-finals, Rosary HSS thrashed Gauncar HSS of Raia 9-0. Sadroy Costa and Salvador Gama scored a hat-trick each, Garrison Fernandes scored a brace and Vellroy Colaco scored a goal.
