PANJIM: Maintaining that the Manohar Parrikar-led coalition government is intact and stable, BJP MLA and Minister Vishwajit Rane questioned whether Congress even has a Chief Ministerial candidate to stake claim to form the government.
Speaking to media persons, Rane said, “Congress is hungry for power and that can be seen as every now and then they talk about stacking claim to form the government. But do they even have a face to project as a Chief Ministerial candidate? There are three-four people in their group who want to be CM. They are all just dreaming.”
Rane said that Congress should stop dreaming as BJP’s allies will continue in power in the State. “BJP-led coalition government is intact and stable. We will continue to be in power. Even if there are any issues the same will be discussed and solved, our government is stable,” he reiterated.
Taking a pot-shot at Congress State president Girish Chodankar, Rane questioned his political standing. “Who is Girish Chodankar? Has he ever won an election? Can he even win an election? Just by dancing with Rahul Gandhi’s name does he think he can win election?” he said.
