PANJIM: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Friday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at New Delhi and discussed various issues and sought his guidance for Goa’s development. Sawant tweeted about the meeting with the Prime Minister.
Sawant said that he also discussed about developing eight towns in Goa on the lines of Varanasi and also implementation of National Education Policy.
In another tweet, Sawant referred to the Prime
Minister’s inaugural address of Semi-Con India Conference, and said that India is moving ahead in the direction of becoming one of the key partners in Global Semi Conductor Supply Chain under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
The electronics manufacturing cluster at Tuem, Pernem offers the best infrastructure to electronics manufacturing companies. India is aiming at becoming a global partner in the sector and Goa is ready to attract investment and contribute as much as possible to the growth story of India, the Chief Minister said.
