PANJIM: Goa’s Abhinandan Upadhyay has been awarded the player of the year for 2016-17 season by the Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India after his excellent performance in the National matches.
Abhinandan has scored 873 runs and took 44 wickets in 10 matches. He has been named as the captain of the Indian disable cricket team for their series against Pakistan to be held in August–September 2018.
