CALANGUTE: The Calangute police busted a sex racket and arrested an accused pimp, Firoz Khan a resident of Delhi, who had gone to deliver two girls to male customers near the Dolphin Circle at Calangute on Friday night.
In a continuing drive against sex trade, a team led by PI Nolasco Raposo conducted a raid near Dolphin Circle and arrested a pimp who had come in a car to deliver two girls to male customers for sex.
An offence under Sections 370, 370(3) of IPC and Sections 4, 5, 7 of Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, 1956 has been registered.
Both the victims have been lodged in the State Protective Home at Merces. The car has been attached in this case. The accused person was produced before the JMFC Mapusa who remanded him in police custody for three days.
