ANJUNA: St Augustus SC Pomburpa beat Nerul SC 4-3 via the tie-breaker in the Anjuna Gymkhana Platinum Jubilee Cup at Anjuna Gymkhana ground, on Wednesday.
Both teams started on a fast and attacking pace and missed several chances in scoring.
The score was 0-0 at half-time.
In the second half, both teams started attacking but just could not find the winner and the match ended in a goalless draw.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Pundalik, Umesh, David and Akshay scored for the winners while Deepraj, Akash and Paul were on target for Nerul Sports Club.
