VASCO: Unknown culprit/s on Sunday night robbed jewellery and cash worth Rs 11 lakh from a house at New Vaddem, Vasco.
According to complainant Jack Fernandes, a resident of Maruti Temple, New Vaddem, he along with his family had left home at around 11.45 pm to attend the Christmas midnight Mass on Sunday and when they returned at around 1.40 am they found that gold ornaments worth Rs 7 lakh and cash worth Rs 4 lakh which Fernandes had recently withdrawn from the postal account were stolen.
