PANJIM: Goans woke up to a cold winter morning on Friday. The temperature dropped to 18 degrees Celsius and is expected to drop further on the weekend. The mercury dropped Thursday evening, with winds blowing.
IMD Goa director Dr Krishnamurty Padgalwar said the temperature that dropped to 18 degrees Celsius is likely to come down to 17 degrees Celsius in the next 48-hours. “The weather has been very pleasant. After 48-hours, the temperature will start rising slightly,” he said.
Asked about strong winds, Padgalwar said these are local winds and there is no specific system prevailing.
