In fact, Parrikar gave a public guarantee on behalf of the chief minister that the new BJP government will devote time and attention to every nook and corner of the State. “I want to give a guarantee that Chief Minister Parsekar will devote his attention to all corners of the State. We believe in inclusive politics,” Parrikar said.
The Defence Minister slammed his critics for comments on his repeated visits to Goa. “I will keep coming to Goa. These people cannot stop me from coming to Goa, but at the same time, I will not be found wanting in my responsibilities as the Defence Minister,” he said.
Parrikar criticized the Congress for not giving any representation to Goa during the last 10 years, adding that the BJP has created history by inducting two mnisters in the Union Council of Ministers.
Parrikar also cut a cake on the eve of his birthday which is on Saturday.
