DICARPALE: Seamen of Dicarpale defeated Diocesan Priests 6-5 via the tie-breaker and lifted the Seamen of Dicarpale and Little Heart Dicarpale Cup in the exhibition match, held at Dicarpale, on Sunday.
Diocesan Priests were first to take the lead in the 15th minute through Valentine after being assisted by Mario. They led 1-0 at the break.

In the second half, Seamen of Dicarpale restored parity in the 60th minute through Alberto Rocha. The full time ended 1-1.
In the tie-breaker, Dicarpale netted through Braz, Sidney, Brian, Laston, Wilson, while for Diocesan Priests Americo, Valentine, Mario and Valson were on target.
Fr Valentine bagged the best striker of the match while Fr Mario was named the best midfielder. Diocesan’s Fr Rosario the best goalkeeper while Fr Americo was named the man of the match.
Cheif guest Fr Domnic Noronha gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of Fr. Silvester Denzil other dignitaries and the organisers.
