CURCHOREM: Former woman chairperson of Curchorem-Cacora Municipal Council (CCMC) Dr. Jasmine Braganza filed her nomination on Thursday from Carriamoddi ward.
Total 14 aspirants submitted their nomination papers on Thursday to the returning officer taking the tally to 60 for the 15-member council.

The other candidates who got into the fray were Nandesh Devendra Vasta from Bagwada-Shirdord (ward no.1), Clemetina Fernandes from Morailem (ward no.3), Amrut Shambu Naik and Swapnil Sanjay Naik from Pontemoll (ward no.4), Dr. Jasmine Braganza, Earl Braganza and Nisha Siddhesh Bhise from Carriamoddi (ward no.5), Rasikdas Rajaram Vast and Abay Sambhu Khandekar from Pongirwal (ward no 6), Omkar Subhash Naik and Sayesh Pundalik Prabhudessai from Madhegal (ward no.7), Yolanda Pereira from Vodlemoll (ward no.8), Bhageyshree Baburao Dessai and Baburao Shrikant Fotto Dessai from Ghotmorod-Bansai (ward no.13).
