CANDOLIM: Joe Cookies, Loutolim veterans blanked Nuvem veterans 2-0 to move into the final of the Candolim Veterans football tournament, organised by Candolim Veterans, at Dr Gustavo Monteiro ground, on Sunday.

It was Michael Barreto who netted the first goal of the match with a powerful shot in the 35th minute. Two minutes later, Michael took a power-packed shot but was diligently saved by Nuvem goalkeeper Selvy Fernandes.
As the match progressed, in the 48th minute, Johny DCruz made it 2-0 for Joe Cookies Veterans Loutolim.
Selvy Fernandes was adjudged as the man-of-the-match.
