PANJIM: St Joseph’s High School, Pernem registered a 10-wicket win against Government High School, Torse in the U-14 boys cricket tournament Pernem Zone organised by Goa Cricket Association at panchayat ground, Varkhand, Pernem, on Saturday.

St Joseph’s HS won the toss and elected to bowl.
In the first 1st innings, Government High School, Torse scored 87/10 in 27.2 overs. Bhimsen Sawal 20 (51), Shreyash Sawant 16 (24), Sandesh Dhargalkar 14 (17) and Dhanesh Raul 12 (22). Aniket Parsekar 17/5 and Shashikant Bhaip 27/3.
While in the first 1st innings, St Joseph’s High School scored 141/10 in 50.2 overs. Devang Mayekar 42 (85), Aniket Parsekar 22*(53), Shashikant Bhaip 12 (13), Krrish Patekar 24 (24). Atmaram Mahale 32/4 and Rishab Toraskar 28/3.
In the 2nd innings, Government High School, Torse scored 83/10 in 30.1 overs.
Swarup Zatye 29 (34), Ansh toraskar 12 (9). Shashikant Bhaip 21/3, Pratik Mayekar 24/3 and Aniket Parsekar 21/2.
At the other end in the 2nd innings, St Joseph High School, Pernem scored 31/0 in 6.4 overs. Smith Dessai 13 (21) and Devang Mahale 11(19).
