MARGAO: A minor girl from one village of Salcete who was kidnapped by an unidentified person has returned home safely. Maina-Curtorim police said that the victim girl has come back home and further investigation is in progress.

Police said that based on the complaint an offence under Section 363 of IPC for kidnapping and 8 of Goa Children’s Act has been registered against an unknown person and investigation is in progress.
Police said that she had been missing from the house since January 30 and her whereabouts were not known. However, since she has returned home we will record her statement and conduct further inquiry, police said.
