PANJIM: The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination will be declared on May 21. The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) conducted SSC examination from April 2 to 26, across 28 centers. Total 19,342 students answered the exams, which
included 9,619 boys and 9,723 girls.
Goa Board Chairman Ramakrishna Samant informed that the SSC results would be declared on Tuesday, at 11 am.
A total of 20,253 candidates were registered for April 2018 SSC Examination and passing percentage was 91.27 per cent.
The centre of collection of results for the schools falling in talukas is as follows: In Mormugao Taluka — St Andrew’s Institute, Vasco; in Canacona and Salcete — Loyola High School, Margao; in Kepem and Sanguem — SES High School, Curchorem; in Ponda and Dharbandora — A.J. De Almeida High School, Ponda; in Tiswadi — Progress High School, Panjim; in Bardez and Pernem — Dnyanprasarak Vidyalaya, Mapusa; in Bicholim and Sattari — Progress High School, Sankhali.
The Board has asked head of institution to refrain from sending candidates or parents for collection of statement of grade/marks from the Board.
List of websites to locate candidate’s SSC result will be available on gbshse.gov.in. The result booklet will be available on official website of the Board. The same may be downloaded by the Head of Institution for official purpose (gbshse.gov.in).
