Pernem Police Arrest Two Maharashtra Natives With Drugs Worth ₹7.65 Lakh

Pernem Police have arrested two Maharashtra natives for allegedly possessing a quantity of narcotic substances worth approximately ₹7.65 lakh.

The accused, identified as Aaron, 41, and Zakariya, 35, were allegedly found in possession of 81 grams of charas, 130 LSD blotter papers, ecstasy powder and ketamine powder.

Police reportedly recovered the substances from a rented room at Mainwada-Korgao during the operation.

Both accused have been arrested and further investigation is underway to ascertain the source of the drugs and whether others are involved in the alleged narcotics network.
