PONDA: Around eight houses are reported to have collapsed in Usgao on account of flooding due to the overflowing of the Mhadei River on Friday. Ministers Govind Gaude and Vishwajit Rane inspected the Usgao-Ganjem area.
The locals at Usgao said besides the eight houses, which collapsed, around 60 of them situated near the river bank were flooded. The locals complained that their TVs and refrigerators were damaged.
