Minor allegedly raped

MARGAO: A complaint was filed on Thursday late evening with the Cuncolim police that a minor girl, aged 16, was sexually exploited by an 18-year-old youth from Velim. The victim’s sister-in-law in her complaint alleged that victim was sexually exploited by the Velim youth in the month of March last. The Cuncolim police informed that the accused has been arrested and he along with the girl were sent for medical examination. Further investigation is in progress.
