MARGAO: Ponda Veterans prevailed over Max Veterans 4-3 via the tie-breaker to sail into the semi final of the 10th All Goa Flame of Unity Veterans football tournament organized by Flame of Unity Club, Per Seraulim at Mabai ground, Per Seraulim on Thursday.
There was no score at full time.
With the regulation time ending in a goalless draw, the tie-breaker was enforced and Ponda Veterans came out victorious.
Ponda Veterans scored through Nelson Lourdes, Vincent Colaco, Santan Colaco and Joaquim Colaco while only Vishant Pednekar, Alfred Fernandes amd Mathew D’Costa scoring for Max Veterans
