BICHOLIM: In a tragic accident, a 22-year-old worker from Uttar Pradesh was crushed to death when his leg accidentally got trapped in an iron rod manufacturing machine at Navelim- Bicholim on Saturday.
According to Bicholim Police, the incident took place when the deceased Sanju Saini was working in a factory at about 9.30 am when his leg got trapped in the machine. A police team led by DySP Gajananan Prabhudesai, PI Ninad Deulkar and PSI Tukaram Walke rushed to the spot and conducted the panchanama. Police has booked an offence against the manager of the establishment under Section 304-A of IPC and investigation is in progress.
