PANJIM: Approximately 27 kgs of drugs, valuing Rs 1 crore, was incinerated at Bambolim by Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Disposal Committee, on Wednesday.
In a press statement issued, the committee has said that narcotic drugs pertaining to 10 cases of Anti Narcotic Cell Police Station altogether weighing approximately 27 kgs were destroyed in the incinerator of Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim.
The drugs that were destroyed include charas, LSD, MDMA, cocaine and ganja. The committee is headed by Deputy Inspector General of Police Parmaditya.
