PANJIM: Unidentified burglars made off with about Rs 7,000 cash, the complete stock of mobile recharge coupons and a computer from a shop at Taleigao on Sunday morning. Owner Vishnu Chari has lodged a complaint with the Panjim police alleging that the burglars entered his store by bending the shutter.
He confirmed that besides the cash, mobile recharge coupons amounting to Rs 15,000 and a computer worth Rs 25,000 were taken. He discovered the burglary when he reached the shop after 8am on Sunday. The shop also had a phone booth.
