MARGAO: Fatorda BJP Mandal on Thursday alleged that a politician from Fatorda has attempted to defame their civic polls party candidate Sadanand Naik by morphing his image and adding the photo of history-sheeter Anwar Shaikh on social media.
Candidates Kalidas Naik, Sadanand Naik and Camilo Barretto were present at the press briefing.

BJP while defending Fatorda BJP leader Damu Naik, Fatorda BJP Mandal President Manohar Borkar said that Damu Naik has never supported and always criticised these kinds of elements.
BJP Mandal has said that the politician from Fatorda while referring to Vijai Sardesai, who they alleged of going after their leader Damu Naik, has in fact given protecting and promoted anti-social elements.
They said that Anwar Shaikh has no connection with BJP.
Sadanand said that it will be interesting to see the circle of Anwar Shaikh and where and who had used him for what in the past.
