MAPUSA: Two inmates of Colvale Central Jail tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. Initially, last week, one convict and four mess staff of the Colvale Central Jail had tested positive.
Sources informed that infected inmates are shifted to COVID Isolated Cell. Initially, 39 inmates had tested positive in Colvale jail and were shifted to isolated cell while some jail staff and IRB staff had also found positive for coronavirus in last two months.
