PANJIM: Revenue Minister Jennifer Monserrate handed over 17 new vehicles to the Revenue officials of North Goa District at a function held in front of North Collectorate, on Friday.
The Minister handed over the keys of eight electric Tata Nexons and nine Mahindra Bolero diesel vehicles to all Deputy Collectors, Mamlatdars, Disaster Management Cell of Collectorate North and Assistant Accounts Officer of Collectorate North.
Monserrate said that revenue offices in Goa are doing a very good job and with the new vehicles they will do even better and will further take the Revenue Department to greater heights.
North Goa Collector Ajit Roy said these new vehicles will boost and give moral support and motivation to work with better zeal.
“With these new vehicles struggle for vehicles will end and thereby improve the output of the officials,” he added.
Additional Collector I, Gopal Parsekar; Additional Collector II, Mamu Hage; Additional Collector, Mahadev Arondekar; Deputy Collectors, Gurudas Dessai, Sneha Gite; Ravishankar Nippanikar, Dipak Vaingankar, Mamlatdars of North Goa District and other officials of District Administration North were present on the occasion.
