VASCO: Vasco police on Friday arrested a person for having sex with a woman with the promise to marry her, but later cheating her.
Vasco PI Nilesh Rane informed that Dheeraj Kadroli, 25, a resident of Vasco, was arrested by Vasco police in connection with sexual assault and cheating the victim woman.
PI Rane said that the victim complained said that the accused deceitfully made her to believe that they are lawfully married. He later had continuous sexual intercourse with the victim under the garb that they being religiously married. But when victim lady asked accused for legal marriage, he disowned her and also avoided meeting her.
Accused was arrested by Vasco police and booked under Sections of 376, 493 and 420 of IPC. LPSI Prajoti Desai is investigating the matter under the supervision of PI Nilesh Rane and sub-divisional police officer, Vasco.
