VASCO: The Bogmalo gram sabha on Sunday was informed that the panchas would inspect their respective wards and correct the village plan prepared by the Planning Development Authority (PDA) by including the houses and structures missed out in the plan.
At the meeting, the gram sabha members expressed surprise that some of the houses and structures from the villages were not shown in the PDA plan.
In response, Sarpanch Virginia Rodrigues informed that that all the panchas would inspect their respective wards, identify the structures not shown on the plan and carry out the correction.
The sarpanch said that it has come to light that the PDA plan was prepared using satellite imagery; therefore, some structures have been missed out.
She said that they received the PDA plan of Bogmalo-Chicolna on July 2 and they have sought time to contact the villagers and to get their reactions on the changes required.
Later, the garbage issue came up for the discussion, in which it was resolved that the psnchayat would start door to door garbage collection from July 15.
