MAPUSA: Assonora United Football Club thumped Sirsaim Sports and Welfare Centre 2-0 in the Bardez Zone GFA’s 3rd Division League at Tivim ground, Monday.
The goals came in the first session. Vincent Rodrigues headed in off a cross from Luis while M A Francis’ venomous shot before the break sealed three points.

play 1-1 draw
At Siolim ground, ABC Sports Club, Arambol and Holy Cross Sports Club, Arambol played a 1-1 draw. Anthony Fernandes scored in the 15th minute for ABC while Zen Rodrigues equalized in the second session.
Milagres held
Milagres Sports Club, Mapusa and St Sebastian Sporst Club played another 1-1 draw at Moirta ground.
