PANJIM: Pratham Vaidya scored 61 runs to power G. VM College to a seven wicket win over Govt College Pernem in a Goa University inter-college cricket match at Teleigao ground, on Tuesday.

In the first match of the day the toss was won by G.V.M’s GGPR College who elected to field. Govt. College Pernem scored 128/7 in the allotted 20 overs. Niraj Naik-47(36), Shivam Parsekar- 17(23)*. Gaurang Gaonkar- 2/15, Saniket Palkar- 2/39.
In reply, G.VM’s College chased the target down in 14.5 overs. Pratham Vaidya- 61(38), Saniket Palkar-23(17)*, Pritam Naik Tulaskar- 2-14, Niraj Naik- 1-10.
In the second match of the day, Rosary College, Navelim defeated Fr. Agnel College, Pilar by 74 runs.
