CANACONA: Canacona Congress leaders on Thursday filed a police complaint against Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant for hurting the sentiments of devotees of Lord Ganesh with his alleged irresponsible statement blaming them for spreading the coronavirus by participating in Ganesh Chaturthi in Goa.
The complaint against the Chief Minister was submitted by the Congress leaders at Canacona Police Station. The complaint states that the CM has hurt the sentiments of Lord Ganesha devotees by allegedly making statement that Lord Ganesh devotees are responsible for spreading corona infection by participating in Chaturthi festival in Goa.
