Trains to halt at Dudhsagar

VASCO: Union Minister of State of Railways Suresh Angadi inaugurated a halt-station at Dudhsagar waterfalls, Collem on Wednesday. 
On the occasion, he assured to attach five Vistadome coaches to Vasco-Belgaum train to give boost to tourism in Western Ghats.
 “Priority will be given to connect Goa and it is good to start this train, which will halt (for a short period), at the world famous Dudhsagar waterfalls. That too during monsoon period where people flock to see the scenic beauty of Dudhsagar waterfall and the Western Ghat region,” he said. 
He added that priority would be given to safety, punctuality and cleanliness in railways.  
“This train will boost business and employment in these areas. Around 4/5 Vistadome coaches shall be attached to this train to give boost to tourism, given the scenic beauty of the Western Ghat section it’s passing through,” he added.
