MARGAO: Karwar Court on Wednesday granted bail to Asis Fernandes, a preacher in Goa, who was arrested by Karwar Police with assistance of Margao Police.
Asis, who is also known as Ashish Parab, is residing near Halga Church, Karwar.
Asis was conducting prayer services in Goa at different places namely Curtorim, Vasco and Margao.
He was arrested on July 7, after his prayer service at Margao was over and the crowd had left the premises.
