MARGAO: A team from Excise Station Salcete taluka on Saturday raided a shop premises at Mazilwaddo, Benaulim, Goa and seized 1516.94 litres of various types of liquor stored illegally in the said shop.

There was no warehouse authorisation or any sort of licence for the said shop. Total value of the liquor seized is Rs. 4,82,473. The raiding team had excise inspectors Shamba Naik, Durgadas Naik and Maheshwar Pai and assisted by other officials Gaurish Naik, Nitesh Naik, Sandesh Shetkar and Nilesh Naik.
