AMBELIM: Margao SC defeated Maina SC, Curtorim 5-4 via the tie-breaker to cruise into the semi-finals of the All-Goa 4th Shooting Stars Cup football tournament, organized by Margao Sports Club in association with Shooting Stars Sports Club, Assolna, at Ambelim ground, on Tuesday.
There was no score in the first half.
Mario Mascarenhas opened the account for Maina SC in the 28th minute but the joy was short-lived for Maina SC as within four minutes Roque Barretto levelled for Margao SC. In the ensuing tie-breaker Margao SC proved to be better shooters.
