PONDA: For the past several days, Pondaites were experiencing severe cold but on Monday they were surprised to receive rain after 7 pm for about half an hour with the Taluka experiencing warm weather during the day.

The locals said that there were showers in some places in the Taluka while some other places remained dry. However, the locals said that the unseasonal showers brought down the warm weather experienced during the daytime on Monday.
Some locals said that they are experiencing severe winter cold these past few days forcing them to remain indoors. “The fear of Omicron also prevented them from venturing outdoors,” the locals added.
