VASCO: Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) chairman and Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida said the Corporation has commenced its inter-state bus service to Karnataka on Saturday.
He informed that KTCL would review the service based on passengers’ response and take a call in two-three days.
Almeida said KTC commenced its interstate bus services to places such as Belagavi, Gokarna, Karwar, etc, on Saturday.
Almeida mentioned that around 15 buses left for Karnataka and added that KTC interstate bus service to Maharashtra is yet to commence.
“The interstate routes are generating revenue for the KTC. The KTC will operate in Maharashtra too,” Almeida added.
When asked what precautionary measures the KTCL has taken during this pandemic, Almeida informed that the buses are sanitised daily and the thermal screening of passengers while boarding bus is done by the KTCL staff.
