When the public pays all the taxes to the government, why is our Goa government not giving us good hot-mixed roads and thinking about our safety?
This is a long time problem which Goans are facing on this main busy road. The road going from Margao to Curchorem through Rawandfond and Quepem is really in a very bad condition. Before the monsoons started digging work was going on this stretch and now when it started raining this road has developed numbers of potholes which are filled with rain water. The drivers passing by this road cannot see how deep the potholes filled with water are. Many minor accidents have already taken place on this stretch.
The road leading to Margao Main Railway Station is another road which is in a bad condition and filled with potholes. Every year the public has to suffer while using this road.
The RTO and Traffic Cell police are always seen on both of the sides issuing challans to the law breakers bringing in lot of money to the Government Treasury. So we request Goa State government, PWD Minister Mr Sudin Dhavalikar and his department to repair the existing pot holes and start hot-mixing the road soon after the monsoon season ends.
