MARGAO: Municipal engineers from across the state have asserted that the municipal engineers (Grade I, II & III) have no role whatsoever in quality checking, quality assurance, structural stability and safety of a particular building. The municipal engineers met in the city here after taking cognisance of police action initiated against former Canacona Municipal engineers in connection with the collapse of Ruby Residency at Canacona.
