Mapusa: Acting on the circular issued by Under Secretary Revenue towards the illegal filling of land and illegal constructions along National Highway 66, the North Goa Administrator of Comunidade has issued show cause notices to 36 people who have allegedly filled up or carried out construction in the comunidade land along the highway.
In this regard, a hearing has been fixed on March 20 where the violators have been asked to remain present.

Meanwhile on February 25, a special drive/inspection was conducted by Deputy Collector Yasheswini B and Bardez Mamlatdar along with the circle inspectors, talathis and PWD officials.
During the site inspection, the report on illegalities have been forwarded to the concerned departments to initiate necessary action and wherever new illegalities are seen, directions are issued to the talathis to report the same on priority basis.
