Bailancho Ekvott has strongly condemned the cowardly attack on NSUI President Sunil Kauthankar for his brave fight against drug racketeers.
President of the NGO Auda Viegas demanded the government should immediately act and put the culprits behind bars and also ascertain the mastermind behind the attack.
“It is necessary that the hoodlums should understand fro once and all that this type of suppression act will not be tolerated any more. At a time, when society expect youth to come forward to clean the system, this is a dastardly act to discourage the youth”, she said, adding that this type of incident intended to create fear psychosis should be strongly dealt with so that the people freely come forward to fight against injustice and the evils in society.
“If not tackled at the right time, these criminal hoodlums will spread their nets and take the society hostage to achieve whatever they want to. It is high time for Goan society to come together and save Goa from the clutches of this mafia”, she added.
