Azgaonkar briefs Gill on 2011 Nat Games

Sports Minister Babu Azgaonkar on his way to Portugal to attend the Lusofonia Games called upon the Union Sports Minister M S Gill at the Raj Bhavan in New Delhi and placed before him a project report on the National Games 2011 to be held in Goa.
Babu apprised the Union minister of the pending sports city complex, and managed to convince Gill on the impending project.
Babu has requisitioned a total of 570 crore for the sports village, which M S Gill has assured the Goan delegation that he would place the requirement along with the project report before the Planning Commission at the earliest.
The sports minister was accompanied by Sports Secretary Dr D N Mudassir and Sports Authority of Goa, Executive Director V M Prabhudessai.
