In the audio, a person is heard telling GoaMiles drivers to attack the local taxi owners from Anjuna area with stones and damage the taxis.

In this connection, on February 22, local taxi owners had filed a police complaint at Anjuna Police Station requesting to investigate into the matter. But even after two days, the Anjuna Police have failed to register a case saying that the audio does not relate to Anjuna.

On Thursday, the taxi owners met the Anjuna Police Station Police Inspector and demanded to file a Zero FIR and forward the same to the concerned police station of the alleged accused jurisdiction.

Taxi owners also claimed that police should investigate into the matter and find out who have sent the audio.

The audio also states that any local taxi which goes to drop customers at Dabolim Airport will be attacked.

“Police took immediate action on audio and video of local taxi owners similarly police should take action on the people who are planning to attack on us. If anything happens to us then government will be held responsible,” said Yogesh Govekar, a taxi owner.
